Intestinal Cramping? Not Sure IBS?
Over the past couple of years I have noticed that I tend to get painful intestinal cramping and discomfort more, sometimes with diarrhea. I got scoped in my stomach and my GI tract and the doctors said there was only a little spot of irritation of my stomach from reflux and I tested negative for all the diseases that would cause this pain. The reason I dont think it is IBS is because the pains come in bouts of a couple of weeks or months, and this problem did not occur until a few years ago. I think it might have something to do with a buildup of acid from reflux getting into the intestine causing pain because I always seem to burp ALOT after I eat and sometimes have to swallow the burp back down, however there is no burning. My situation is starting to control what I do and I dont want this to go on forever. Any suggestions on what could be the problem?
why do i suddenly have NO appetite?I've been going through this cycle where I go from having a normal appetite and being at a perfect weight, to suddenly having no appetite at all and losing alot of weight (I'm talking about going from 135 lb. to 110 lb. in just a couple of months.) This has been on on-going cycle, and i'm not sure if i have some kind of disease or what it is... The other symptoms besides loss of appetite include diarrhea (mainly in the morning & before bed), stomach pain, gas, nausea, irritability, weakness, feeling as if it is difficult for me to breathe, feeling like i have to pee when there isn't anymore left to come out, feeling shaky and light-headed sometimes, headaches sometimes, etc... its almost hard to even explain completely how i feel right now. please, has anyone had these symptoms or know what may be causing this? thanks

Now what, no one can figure out what is wrong with my husband.?We literally have $50.00 in our bank account and at least $10,000 in medical debt and NO answers! Here are his symptoms: Severe pain in the kidney's. Blood in his urine. History of kidney stones :he has some small ones sitting in his kidneys right now, but they aren't moving. The urologist said they don't cause pain if they aren't moving so we know that isn't the problem. Eating red meat makes it hurt worse, it will put him into tears and that is hard to do. Laying down makes it feel better, but within 5 minutes of getting up it hurts again. They had him on morphine, when he would take it, it felt like he was being poisoned and it would make his kidney's hurt worse. Weight Loss (about 30lbs.) in the last 5 months. Sometimes he gets a burning sensation in his stomach and on his tongue. He has high blood pressure, Scheuermann’s Disease (degenerative disc disease in his back since age 13), and a couple of herniated discs in his lower back and he is only 30 years old. Tests they have done: Multiple CT scans Bloodwork (I don't know what kind for sure) Colonoscopy Scope of his stomach Had his gallbladder taken out 1 MRI HydaScan before they took the gallbladder out. Ultra Sound Even had his heart checked out with an Echo and EKG. And I could be missing some, but this has been going on for over a year now. We are out of money, and it seems like he is dying and there is nothing we can do about it! Can anyone out there give me any idea of what he might have wrong? I know it's stupid to ask this on the internet, but at this point there is nothing else we can do. If he has a herniated disc in his thorasic, could that cause all of this?
Celiac testing - do it once?My 12 yo daughter was tested for celiac disease as a baby. It was negative. She's had stomach issues for 3 years, including gastroparesis, now resolved. Each illness, cold, virus, causes stomach pain, diarrhea, and/or vomiting in her. She's lost a lot of school again this year. The pediatrician now wonders about celiac. If she was negative at age 20 months (don't remember exactly), would she need to be tested at age 12 years? I'd rather not go through a special diet/diet of elimination if she doesn't have to!
