Can anyone help grammer check my intro paragraph?
I am writting an essay about my first accident and how it changed my life and my intro starts off when I got my license. Can any make any correction to my paragraph and maybe write down some good describing words? Intro: “YES, I FINALLY GETTING MY LICENSE!” Being 17 and the only person in my buddy group to not have a license was a torture for me. I always hated asking my friends for rides or waiting for the over crowded bus that arrives 20 minutes after it’s schedule to be. But now that I graduated from my driver class all my begging for rides are over. Jumping with joy, I couldn’t wait to go to the court house after school to go get my ticket to freedom. School that day felt like an eternity because I was so ecstatic to be receiving my license and being a beautiful, warm breezy Friday was just an icing on the cake. Once the clock finally hit 2:45, the sound of the bell ranged, but before the bell could even finish I was already sprinting out of school to get inside my mom’s car. Each time we got closer and closer my heart bounces viciously it felt like it was piercing my skin. While in court, the judge and police officer gave the people receiving their license a huge lecture about the importance of obeying the law. I really didn’t pay attention to what they were say because I was dreaming about driving slick, shiny, silver 2001 Nissan Maxima to its full velocity and drift to the sunset with my windows down and the warm wind blowing my hair back. Since leave the court room with my license, I have felt unstoppable on the road with out having to be stopped by the police. Driving recklessly without a care in the world, but it wasn’t until my accident that turn my life around.
which magazine is better? glamour or cosmopolitan? any other suggestions?i'm not really into celebrity gossip or fashion but i want a magazine that has really good advice. i want good advice on skin/hair care, dating/sex, fitness/diet, etc. fashion is ok and a tiny bit of celebrity stuff is fine ( i just dont care about the gossip). any ideas?
Good skin/ hair/ genral body care ?How can I genrally look after my body well ? Like stop it aging do quickly and things ? It's always better to start young and I am 14 so I have a way ahead of me yet. so how can I prevent wrinkles for when I am older ?
GUYS!! What is your ideal girl like?I mean physically. I know some of you will say that you don't care how she looks, but let's face it, when you close your eyes and think of yourself with your soulmate, you imagine her to look a certain way. Small hole in dog's skin? and Frontline or Advantix?Question 1: My dog's had this hole since at least March, my mom was supposed to take him to the vet (I was away at school), but since she couldn't find it later, she thought it healed. It's not huge, it's only about a square millimeter large and an 1/8 of an inch deep. In March, it was bigger, about 1/4 inch deep and four square millimeters big and was leaking a crumbly, waxy pus (very little). His fur is very thick, so we don't know when this appeared. Our vet requires a 2 week advance for holiday week appointments, and the other vet near us has given us really bad care in the past. I shined a light on it, used a magnifying glass, and it has a bottom, bleeds a bit, and has a sort of membrane that kinda looks like the skin layers reforming. We applied neosporin until we get some bactrim later today. Any ideas as to what this could be? It could be a mite wound, but I can't find enough pictures to verify this, but there's no hair loss or rash, just the hole and dandruff (it's been very dry and apparently, my parents weren't bathing him properly). He had a full check up in April and the vet didn't find anything suspicious about the dandruff and couldn't find the hole. Question 2: Which is the best? Ticks have recently been found in our neighbor's yard, no telling about ours, so we need something with flea, tick, and if possible, mite protection. We're treating the yard Monday, so something we could go buy would be better than having to order online.
