My mother was misdiagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Doctor said her joints are inflamed and has been on an anti-inflammatory diet but it's not helping. She mainly gets pain in her joints at night time and does not let her sleep well. The doctor prescribed muscle relaxers but they make her uncomfortable because she is just sleeping off the pain, not actually fixing any problems. If anyone has heard of anything like this and have recommendations, please help.
i had gastric bypass and i need to take a pain reliever?i have a muscle that tightened early today in my mid back and it wont loosen and it is really hurting, what pain medication can i take now that i have had this surgery. by the way Tylenol and alieve do nothing at all for me. can i take a muscle relaxer also with my surgery?
Very sore back, arms, legs, and feet...headache.?Hi. what I'm most concerned about is my back. I woke up this morning, and I couldn't even get up. I've been holding my back, like an older person during school and I now can finally stand up straight but I can't bend down. It hurts on my lower right side and upper left and right. I think my arms and legs are tired from swimming, and piano [any tips on how to help those] and for some reason my foot [left] has been just, weird. i can't walk around without stepping on my tippy-toes because i can't go all the way back to stepping at the heel of my foot? what is this!? also, does ibuprofen help headaches? my dad tells me its useless to use it, it sjust a muscle relaxer. but, my friends use it for headaches. !!?? please help [:
Chronic spinal cord pain?I have been having terrible pain on my spine. I have been checked by doctors and x-rayed. The pain is on my L1 vertebrae. I experience no numbness or pain in any extremities. I have been given muscle relaxers, pain meds, and exercises, yet nothing brings relief. I now have pain at the base of my neck / top of my spine. Some days I can function and feel the burning pain. Other days I can't get out of bed. I have now seen two doctors with no relief. I can't live my life on muscle relaxers and pain meds. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas. It has been two months.
How to ease neck and shoulder pain?I have had neck and shoulder pain for a few weeks now and it doesn't seem to be getting much better. I had a chiropractor work on me for a few weeks and it seemed to only make it worse. I also went to a dr. for muscle relaxers, but the only made me tired and feel loopy, the pain was still there. So, what can I do to ease some of this pain does anyone know?
