Muscle relaxants FAQ
Muscle Relaxants cause chronic Dizzyiness?
I've been puzzled by a mystery for some years and counting. Here I'll give you an idea of what I am asking at this time, it was in 91' that I took a muscle relaxant for a lower back pain. I am not fully clear of the prescription, but it was close to the name diazepam. It was a house shaped like pill....By the 3rd day of taking the muscle relaxant, I was starting to experience dizzyiness & vomitting for like 2 1/2 days. Should have gone straight to the ER, but b/f at that time didn't think they have answers. I've been stuck with something that no one can explain or clear up that mystery. Now that I think about it, would it be a bad reaction, or the pharmacy filled the prescription with the wrong type of medicine to treat me and I went through a terrible phase of dizzyiness and vomitting, lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. Was like that OFF and ON for good 8 yrs...No doctor can figure that out? Question is, could a muscle relaxant cause permanent damage, like being stuck to live with chronic dizziness? Kind replies pls, I can ONLY ASK for clues, a closure to know what I can do and CANNOT do for the rest of my life. Hmm, you got me...Here I'll say this currently not on any muscle relaxant meds since 91'. But the chronic dizziness is with me whether I like it or not. I was perfectly in normal health, and after taking the muscle relaxant, my life was uprooted, relationship out the window, almost costed me my job...Does this help?

Should I get my stomach pumped?I am in extreme pain. I apparently, according to my doctor, sprained my neck. Don't ask me how, I don't know, but it causing a LOT of pain in my head, neck, shoulders, nausea and now my lower back hurts like I pulled it, too. So, to day, I took four ibuprofen then, two hours later, (after forgetting due to the pain that I had taken the ibuprofen) took four naproxen sodium. Should I get my stomach pumped? Cause I also have a birth control, muscle relaxant, anti-inflamitory, two headache relief pills, and a Prilosec in my system. I feel fine except for a stomach ache, which I ACTUALLY think is from not eating enough with the Prilosec. So, should I? Cause I'm going to the doctor about the back and neck pain again later today... I only realized I'd taken two four-pill doses of pain reliever about twenty minutes ago.
Methocarbamol question?I know I shouldn't take other people's medication, and I know the risks I'm taking. But I have a bottle of Methocarbamol 750mg tablets. And I know it's a muscle relaxant of some short. It says take 1 to 2 tablets a day, for pain. But how much do I take to feel really good. I am 18, and weigh 140 lbs. Like I said I know it's wrong, and I have no reason for taking it, except to feel a good buzz.
Do muscle relaxants contain blood thinners?
