How do I get my dog to take prednisone?

My dog has been breaking out on her belly, we still have not found out what it is from, but our vet gave us these tablets of prednisone that look like the chewable child's medicine. We forgot to ask the vet whether our dog is supposed to swallow or chew these, and the vet is closed right now. Does anybody have any idea of whether she should chew or swallow these? she's a mixed breed, almost 8 months old, around 42 lbs, the bottle says give 1 tablet once a day for 3 days, then 1/2 tablet once a day for 3 days, then 1/2 tablet every other day until gone . they are 20mg tablets

About 4 weeks ago I noticed 3 bumps that looked like pimples on the inside of my leg near the genital area. I thought it might be just a normal breakout so I went in the shower & got it really good with hot water. This did not make matters better, soon many bumps came in the same area on both sides. (only on skin not on actual genitals) Then, about 4-5 days ago my arms & legs became really itchy & they started breaking out in similar bumps only smaller & more faded. I just saw the doctor & she gave me prednisone but she had no idea what this is (maybe an allergic reaction) I feel so alone like no one in the world has experienced this!!! Please if anyone has gone through a similar situation please let me know & if you have any good suggestions. I have considered everything from scabies to syphillis but I'm pretty damn sure its none of the above

Okay i recently had a sinus infection, that the doctor said might have gotten some stuff into my lungs that irritated them (i have asthma) so i had a wet cough, so i took antibios and its been about a week and a half and i still have that same wet cough. I do get allergies at random years. But i usually get prednisone and the doctor would not give me that this time. Is it normal for a cough to last this long, if not do you think its my allergy induced asthma Thanks for all the help >.<

This did not start until I began Prednisone and I was negative for Hepatitis
