Nortriptyline FAQ

PLEASE HELP OVERDOSE?

My friend had just overdosed on atenolol, Nortriptyline, and about two other pills and she couldnt remember the names of theother ones, but she consumed about 15 pills...what is going to happen to her?! is she going to be okay? I told her to keep taking deep breaths and to get a glass of water, but I couldnt help her because she called me and I had/have no way of getting to her house. Its been about 40 minutes now since she swallowed them and is she going to be okay?! I dont know if this'll help, but she is 15 about a month away from 16

can you get high from nortriptyline? someone said you could but i dont believe them. It's an antidepressant

Can I take Pamelor (Nortriptyline) & Paxil CR together? (of course, at separate times 12 hours apart) I was on Pamelor & regular Paxil for a long time, but I just noticed my new paxil prescription is for the extended release paxil. Pamelor is one of the old fashioned tricyclic anti-depressants in the same group as Elavil, etc.. Paxil is one of the newer SSRI type in the same group as Prozac, etc... By the way, the reason I am confused is that both of these are anti-depressants, & the Paxil CR is long lasting where it is time released at extended intervals. So, I was not sure about them both being in my body at the same time? Thanks!

i am on Zoloft and seroquel and my numerologist gave me a prescription for a medication called nortriptyline and don,t tell me i have type errors because this is how they spelled it on my medication bottle

does this sound right? my pdoc wants me to take 80 mg of strattera at bedtime, with 50 mg of nortriptyline. i've read that ppl usually start off with like 25 mg., and that it can keep ppl awake. why does he want me to take it at bedtime?
