Does Microgestin have higher incidence of depression and decreased libido than other contraceptives?

1mg norethindrone acetate / 20mcg ethinyl estradiol. Doctor gives very little info about the differences between pills, despite being asked repeatedly. Last doctor gave very little information as well. The information, do u haz it? >^..^< Thanks Jen B, but I haven't had these symptoms yet- I just got the prescription today. But- when looking it up online I saw a number of discussion threads written by people saying that this particular medication really messed them up. I googled till I went crosseyed, but I couldn't tell if the incidence of these symptoms is higher with this medication, or if more people on this particular medicine happen to be discussing it. As I said, my doctor says nothing, over and over again. I ask specific questions, and get weird canned answers. I kind of wonder if I am talking with a person or a medical magic 8 ball.

I need my partner to postpone her periods for some obvious reasons ? will having hormone tablets to postpone will it carry any side effects ? the tablet name is sandoz norethindrone acetate usp regestrone 5mg & it has been prescribed for 10 days twice a day. need some advise whether it will have any side effects.

I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and my doctor prescribed Norethindrone Acetate, which is just progestin. it's supposed to regulate my periods and I will be taking three pills a day for one year. These pills are making me very moody and sometimes depressed. My breasts are very sore as well. Has anyone here taken this medication before and how did you cope with it? Also, after taking this medication, did your cycle become regulated? Were you able to conceive? Any info would be of great help and appreciation!

i've started norethindrone acetate on april 5 and ihad to take it to april 18 which made days 1-14 and my period came on april 20-27 and why after my periods off i see like a hair conditioner color in my underwears thats real white and thick and i can feel the warmth discharge comin out do it means this norethindrone working or is it a good thing cause i got to take norethindrone 2 more mths cause i'm trying to concieve give me some good clues what to do its been everyday just about since i started this pill

all my life i had irregular menustral cycle and now im getting it straight cause i want a baby the doctor did an exam on me and he sees nothing wrong just me not ovulating due to irregular cycle so hes putting me on norethindrone acetate for 3mths in on the 3rd mthof june hes starting me on clomid and he acts likes hes pretty sure that clomid wll get me pregnant cause he doesn't see anything else wrong with me the only thing he wants me to due is shed a few pounds before i start taking clomid in june and i do respect that give me some god answers
