Okay so ever since early february i have been taking minocycline. (its an acne medication for those who dont know) I have also been using a cream for at night. I have noticed some difference on my face, but not a lot. Also i still have mild acne on my back. So there are two options now, Accutane or Birth Control. Both have some scary side effects, but please share your experiences with me. ****** PLease take note that i live in canada and some medications are sold in the states and not here. I've always had generally dry armpits. Of course, they would sweat when doing some type of exercise, sport, etc. Lately, however, I've been sweating even in the coolest, dryest of places. In the classroom, at home, anywhere! And it's extremely embarrassing because you can see wet spots under my arms and it almost looks unhygienic. I'm very hygienic though and I always wear deodorant. When my armpits are sweating, it doesn't have a bad odor...only the odor of my deodorant, but the appearance of it is just disgusting...to me and others also. This profuse sweating seemed to begin when I started taking minocycline.

I was taking doxycycline for moderate acne but it wasnt working so the dermatologist prescribed me minocycline. Which one has worked better for you and which really clears up your face?

my dermatologist gave me: ketoconazole shampoo (for my body) ketoconazole pills (i take twice a day) minocycline pills (i take once a day) Benzaclin gel (i use on my face in the morning) Tazorac cream 0.05% (i use on my face before i go to bed) i have been useing all of that for 3 days now while i have not seen any results yet ( which i expected ) how long you think it will take for me to have clear skin? my face is not riddled with acne but i do have acne,white heads,black heads,acne scars and body acne
