I was prescribed two medications: Zoloft for OCD/Depression and Concerta for ADD. Last time I took a medication (Fluvoxamine), I had the worst stomachache ever. My stomach felt like it was burning, and I had nausea and felt like I was going to vomit (I never did, but when you're an emetophobe the feeling is terrifying). It hurt so bad and I really don't want to go through that again. So... I'm kind of afraid of medication. I know I shouldn't be, but the possibility for these side effects just scares me so much. I don't want to take these, but my dad told me that there's no way out this time. The side effects for both have stomach pain (nausea, stomachache, etc) listed, and I just want to know if there's a huge chance that I'll feel sick on these. I've also heard that stomach complications are a common side effect with Fluvoxamine, and I did eat a lot of flaming hot cheetos before taking Luvox. But I'm still scared. Imput please?

i had sweet breakfast, after a while i felt like I'm sick? this insane headache and feels like I'm gonna vomit, i feel horrible! i can't explain :( i got my blood sugar tested at home and i got 75, how can this happen even tho i've had a sweet meal? also yesterday i've passed out, but i was feeling Ok before i do, i don't know if it's related to blood sugar, as far as i know i am not diabetic, but i do use (Faverin) or (fluvoxamine) for treating depression. i don't think the medicine caused it, cos i've felt like this a while back but no passing out occurred Thanks for your time! appreciate your help Nawaf.

I currently take the following medications daily: CONCERTA 54 MG TABLET ER FLUVOXAMINE MALEATE 100 MG TAB Basically, 54 mg Concerta and 100 mg Luvox... I CANNOT remember if I already took it today... But I'm not feeling very focused, which is what the Concerta is supposed to do... I need to speak with my doctor about increasing the dosage, but I haven't spoken with her yet. My concern is I already took it and I'm just no longer feeling the effects, but if I DIDN'T take it yet today, I will be more focused by taking it than if I don't. Let me re-word this: While I feel that the Concerta doesn't make as MUCH of a difference as it used to, it still makes a difference... I can't remember if I took it today, but I need to have taken it. If I take it now, and I did already take it this morning, what are the dangers? I can't remember if I took it and I'm worried about taking too much of both of these meds... So here's my choices. By NOT taking the medicine now: a) I may have already taken it this morning, but I'm not sure if I did... If I did, there will be no difference than a normal day. b) If I didn't already take it this morning, I will be going a day without my meds and this causes nausea the following day, as well as a lack of focus and more nervous tendencies. By TAKING the medicine now: a) I may be taking it for the first time and everything will be perfectly find. b) I may be taking it for the second time, and I don't know what will happen if this is the case. What will happen if I accidentally take it twice?

At the moment I don't have any type of health insurance, except worker's comp. How could I go about seeing a pharmacist, or a psychiatrist, just to get a prescription for luvox?

Ive been having CBT for 9 weeks now...but the therapist for my own personal reasons and events has reccomended drugs as an additional aid just for the time being. Im fully aware of the problems that come with it, its my own choice as to why i have chose them. I simply wanted to know how long they take to kick in. Thanks those who answered.
