why does my dog not eat his food?

my dog doesn't like to eat his own food for about a week but he has eaten some food over this time. he threw up twice but it was only stomach acids that came up. the only thing he eats is some human food and stuff in the backyard like grass, dirt and roots of flowers. a couple days ago we took him to the vet and they injected him with famotidine(10ml). when he came home he was way better and he ate his food but the next day he went back to being picky,not eating and throwing up. he wants to eat but not his own food

It's really starting to annoy me. Oh and acid reflexes are when you feel like your stomach acids in your mouth and throat right? Well if not I get that a lot. My stomach hurts and then my mouth feel gross and I have bad breath. I want to Target and they gave me maximum strength famotidine tablets USP, 20 mg acid reducer and it's the Target brand compared to Pepcide AC by the way...

I quit taking Prilosec but had to got back on it because the withdrawal was so severe. When I eat, I also get itchy skin and scalp, dry eyes, ear pain, muscle cramps, and I have hives on my scalp. Can withdrawal from these drugs cause such symptoms?

I went to the doctor and they said I had that, so they put me on these medications called famotidine, and some gaviscon, but ever since i've been taking them, every time i eat i feel really sick. I've been on these meds for about 3 days now. Is this normal? Should I talk to the doctor?

Before I get the lectures...I took her to the vet yesterday. She had vomited two days in a row when I took her and small traces of blood were in it. The vet examined her and said that everything seem fined but she might have an overly acidic stomach. So, he gave me a bunch of medicine: Carafate (1mg. x 3 a day), famotidine (20mg x 2 a day), and cerenia (1/2 pill a day). So, I would LOVE to hear from a vet or vet tech but anybody is okay. Anyway...my first question is that I have given her her meds for one full day and she STILL vomited again today...does this mean they are not working or just that it needs more time? I am really worried! She did eat her dinner right after she vomited but she only ate half of it. I also feed her Canidea Platinum 1 1/2 cup (because she is a bit overweight) and 3 tbsp of wet food (blue buffalo) twice per day. She was eating good when I had her on the regular Canidea ALS and when I switched to the Canidea platinum she stopped wanting to eat as much but I think it is just because she does not like it (but I know she is still hungry because she sniffs around the floor for crumbs). So, is there a good dog food for sensitive stomachs for a chocolate lab that would also not be too high in calories? I really like foods without corn,soy,or too many grains. She has always had a sensitive tummy (last year I had a big battle with diarriah with her but it seems to have gone away). Any advice on foods or just any general advice. I am really worried!
