birth control and Antibiotic?

I'm on birth control and i have a strep throat, and my doctor put me on antibiotic, (Cefdinir) does it cancel it out? we're going to see my husband next weekend and i DO NOT want to use a condom! will it cancel it out? HELP 10 days :( yah i def. don't want to risk it but UGH i hate condoms..

My son's pediatrician wrote him a prescription for Cefdinir, when I went to Walgreens to pick it up, I was absolutely floored when the pharmacy technician said, this will be $122.00. I have insurance and she said, yes, your insurance pays $20. I couldn't even believe it. I should have refused the medication and immediately called the doctor to tell him to re-write a prescription for something cheaper. That is absolutely rediculous. This is a 10 day liquid form antibiotic, so its not even long-term. I'm sure it costs $5.00 to make the stuff. Something has to be done about controlling the costs of pharmaceuaticals in America.

Im taking Cefdinir for my strep throat. It says take two capsules by mouth daily for 10 days. i have 20 capsules. So should i take two at a time everyday? or one at, say, 8 in the morning and 8 in the evening. There is no clarification exactly on how to take them.
