Benazepril FAQ

Anyone who takes Amlodipine and Benazepril how do you take it?

I just got a prescription for high blood pressure, been taking another medicine already, but doctor prescribe this one for me, Anyway the cost was so much cheaper to get two separate medicine instead of one so I I had the pharmacist with permission with Doctor to got two medicines, anyway the pharmacist said that I could take one at night and the other during the day or take it both together, Just trying to find out for those who take this combination of drugs separately do you take it all at once or take one in the morning and the other at night, I am currently taking both in the morning.

I was wondering if taking a combine medicine more better than taking it separately?

I have high blood pressure that I need to take medication to control, My problem is the one prescription that was given to me and it is called amlodipine besy- benazepril. is kinda expensive and my insurance does not cover it but when I asked the pharmacist about it he told me to have the Doctor separate the prescription and give me a prescription for each and it would be cheaper. If I brought it combine it would run $170 for 3 months and if I took it separately then it would cost me $40 for 3 months. My question would I be getting the same benefit if I took the medication separately or what draw back if any from them giving me two separate medication. Unfortunately the list of medication for high blood pressure on most of these generic discount are not Program like Walmart of Walgreen etc do not include the one that are usually prescribe by my doctor or the list from my insurance does not have any common high blood pressure medicine either.

I'm taking high blood pressure pills (Benazepril 20mg and Atenolol 25mg) is it ok to us Robitussin DM?

Checking the amount and character of the drainage. Checking the dressing. (Catching infection early) ii. Assessment of the clients Pain level. iii. Assessment of the skin for possible edema/pressure ulcers. Patient has limited ROM. Some guidance / advice / pointers in the right direction would be very much appreciated. She does have low Na, Hgb, Hct, and PT, but those are issues for the Physician to address.
