Taking antibiotics, I keep smelling a weird smell?

I'm almost finished w/ a round of amoxicillin and for the past couple of days it's like this weird smell has been in my nostrils, I can't get it out... It kind of smells like skunk, or coffee or something...it's hard to explain. I don't think it's my breath but I also sort of taste it in the back of my throat. Could this be from taking the antibiotics? Do they ever cause you to smell a funny smell?

My doctor gave me 7 days of Amoxicillin and I'm not really feeling better yet. I have sinus headaches every day and have to go home and sleep.I'm supposed to go to Chicago this weekend but don't know if it will be worth it since I feel this way. Is this normal?

Ok so according to my last period im 7 weeks pregnant... on tuesday i went 2 a&e becuz i was passin blood in my urine... simple answer for that urine infection, sent me off with amoxicillin and to cum back next day for a scan she said only be worried if ur getting pains and fillin 4 pads in an hour... so on wednesday i went back to the hospital i was given an internal soo everything was checked out with womb the lot..(never had 1 b4) soo went to have a scan..no sign of pregnancy, so i had another internaland they found the pregnancy the size of a kidney bean, she said: A) should have a heart beat B) baby should be bigger i calculated that i would of concieved 5 weeks this weekend ago... so i went away, and today i was passin blood clots (dark) its not actually fillin up the pad its only when i wee them out it feels like period pains awell.... please can some one help me or explain whats going on?? Im worried and confused and i need help =( xxxx Thankyuuuu xxxx

I know the usual answer, it's just that amoxicillin does not actually kill bacteria, just helps slow it's reproduction while your immune system takes over. So how can resistance build in this case? I guess I am looking for a more involved answer, which , of course, I could not get from my doctor. Background: I was prescribed 500 mg every 8 hrs for 7 days after tooth extraction, but it irritates my stomach to the point I can't bring myself to take it again. There doesn't appear to be any infection either two days after procedure. I guess the doctor prescribed a high dose to be on the safe side, In the past I tolerated 250 mg capsules better, would it be a better choice to take lower dose more often (ie every 4-6 hours)?
