I'm a teenager who has the chicken pox can you please answer these questions for me?

1) I'm taking Acyclovir how will this help with my chicken pox exactly? it says to take for 5 days what happens if I take it longer that? 2) I haven't been itching and my spots are slowly drying. I really want to avoid going to school with crusted blisters. can I use cover up?? 3) If the spots are on your face how long do they take to crust over scab and fall off? 4) its almost summer. will my spots be gone so I can wear a bikini with out gross sight of old chicken pox? 5) Is it okay for me to shampoo my hair , i have chicken pox in my scalp? 6) when is it okay for me to go to a salon and get my hair done since I have the chicken pox in my scalp? I am a biracial female. black and white with caramel skin I do not have a bunch of spots like they show online of people with chicken pox. i just have some spots here and there not everywhere.

I noticed a small red, rashy spot on the very top of my thigh about a month ago. It is close to my groin area but on the thigh. I have HSV1, the genital kind, so I thought that it was the beginning of an outbreak, and I didn't worry about it too much. Thing is though, I still have the rash and I have never had an outbreak last this long. In fact, the only thing close to an outbreak I've ever had was the first occurence of herpes, when I 1st got it and was diagnosed with it. Last week I called a RN at Planned Parenthood and she called in a script for Acyclovir 200 mg to take 3X daily for 5 days. That is kind of a lot of meds right? I took the medicine as prescibed and rash is still there. Then I went to another Dr. the other day who told me it didn't look like herpes or any kind of infection really, just looked like a fungus/jock itch and prescribed me Ketoconazole topical cream. How long will it take to work? The insert that came with it said to apply for 2 weeks or until symptoms resolve. Will it really take that long??? I want to wear a bathing suit soon and I can't with this ugly rash on me!

so i just found out not to long ago that i have genital herpes. one day i started hurting really bad and then a couple days later i started itching. around this time my boyfriend said he had something that looked like a spider bite. we went to the hospital and they treated it as that. a few days after that he started getting blisters/sores on him and a few days later i got my first one. we went to the hospital and they gave him acyclovir. i cant really go get any medication for mine because i dont have insurance. but before this neither of us had ever had any symptoms or anything and i got tested about 7 months ago because it was required for my job at the time and hes the only person ive been with since then. howo could this had just shown up out of no where on both of us? i have my concerns already about him being unfaithful to me could this just prove it since it never showed up on my tests and since his outbreak came on first? and also now im starting to notice that all the sores on my genitals are healed but now i have some on my butt and mt thighs. the one on my thigh and one on my butt really hurts and has like a brown tip to it and its swollen kind of. and another one on my butt is just a blister. is this normal? and what could have caused it? could it have anything to do with the fact that me bf had cold sores on his mouth to? and also are there any over the counter medicanes i can use that will help since i dont have insurance? i know its alot of questions but i really dont know who to ask about them i havent even told my parents or anyone about this yet. i dont kno how to so im trying to find answers any other way i can so any answers will be helpful. i was a dancer and in the club i worked at it was a completely nude club and all the girls were required to do std tests.

Hi, I caught the chicken pox like 2 days ago and my rash spread like crazy, so I got Acyclovir cream (5%) and Zovirax tablets (400mg). I've been applying the cream on each spot and blister like every 5 hours, and taking a Zovirax pill one at early morning and another at night (only took 3 so far), and just a couple of minutes ago I noticed that my nails (hands and feet) were all a bit blue-ish. it looked bad while I was in the shower but as I type this it started getting back to normal (actually considering not publishing this question :S). Could this be a drug contradiction, knowing that drugs such as Acyclovir are sold without prescription around my town? or is it a normal chicken pox symptom or what?? please help I'm going paranoi here!
